Terms of Service

These Terms govern your booking, your visit, and your use of dapperfellasbarbershop.com (the "Site"). By booking or using the Site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't book.
The shop
Dapper Fellas Barbershop is a service business at 13059 Victory Blvd, Valley Glen, CA 91606. Phone: (818) 392-5771. Email: dapperfellas@yahoo.com. Hours: 10 AM – 8 PM, seven days a week.
Booking and payment
- Bookings are made through our scheduling partner Altegio (embedded in the Site) or by phone.
- The price you see at booking is the price you pay. Service prices on the menu are current as of the "Last updated" date.
- Payment is made on-site after the service. We accept cash and major cards.
- Tipping is at your discretion and goes directly to your barber.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Life happens. We ask for at least four hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. You can do this through the booking confirmation link or by phone. Repeated no-shows may require a deposit on your next booking.
Late arrivals
If you're more than 15 minutes late, the chair after yours has likely already been claimed. We'll do our best to fit you in, but we may need to shorten the service or reschedule. We won't rush a cut to make up time.
Age restrictions
The Cadet service is for guests under 12 and must be booked by a parent or legal guardian, who must be present during the visit. All other services are open to guests of any age, with parental consent required for under-18 if requested by the barber.
Service guarantee
If you're not happy with the cut, tell your barber before you leave the chair. We'll fix it on the spot. We don't offer refunds on completed services, but we'll always make it right.
AI Try-On
The Try-On feature on this Site lets you preview a haircut style on your own photo using AI. By uploading a photo, you confirm: (a) the photo is of you, or you have permission to upload it; (b) you understand the result is a creative visualization, not a guarantee of how a real cut will look on you; (c) you accept the data handling described in the AI Disclosure. The feature is free and rate-limited.
Text messaging terms
These terms govern the SMS program run by Dapper Fellas Barbershop. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.
- Program. Appointment confirmations, your position in the walk-in line, "your chair is ready" alerts, day-before reminders, and – only if you separately opt into offers – occasional notices when a chair opens up.
- How you join. You ask us to text you: verbally on a call to (818) 392-5771, by checking the box on our booking form, or by tapping the text-me control on the front-desk tablet. We never add a number that didn't ask.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies with your visits. Most guests receive 2 to 4 messages per month.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Leaving. Reply STOP to any message to end the program at once. Reply HELP, call (818) 392-5771, or email dapperfellas@yahoo.com for help.
- No sharing. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or transfer your mobile number or your messaging consent. See our Privacy Policy.
- Eligibility. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian consent on your behalf, and you must be the subscriber or authorized user of the number you give us.
- Carriers supported. Major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and their affiliates.
Site content and ownership
All photographs, copy, illustrations, and the Dapper Fellas wordmark are owned by Dapper Fellas Barbershop or licensed to us. Don't copy or redistribute the Site without written permission. Reviews and testimonials displayed on the Site are with the consent of the people quoted.
Acceptable use
Don't try to break, scrape, or misuse the Site. Don't upload anything illegal or anything containing other people's images without their consent. Don't use the Try-On feature to generate harmful, defamatory, or sexual content — the underlying model and our rate limits will block most of it, but the responsibility is yours.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is." We try to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee uptime, error-free operation, or that the booking iframe always loads. If something on the Site is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim related to the Site or a booking is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question (or, if no payment was made, $50). We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by California law. Any dispute is resolved in the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County. Mandatory consumer-protection rules in your home jurisdiction still apply where they give you a stronger right.
Changes
We may update these Terms — when we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date and, where the change is material, we'll let you know via email or a banner on the Site.
